Update from the 2008 CCCEOPSA Conference Committee

Pre-registration for the fall 2008 CCCEOPSA conference has been extended to September 30, 2008. We are aware of the budget constraints faced by many colleges, and understand that some travel requests may still be in the approval process. Onsite registration is $475.00 and begins on 10/1/08.

There are rooms available at the Westin. The membership has booked 857 of the 916 rooms blocked for the conference at the Westin. Call the Westin central reservations line, 888-627-8404, rather than attempt to reserve a room on line. Call Jessica Buletti (650-872-8117), CCCEOPSA conference services manager at the Westin, if you have a problem securing a room through central reservations at the conference rate.

The conference overflow hotel is the Clarion hotel, 401 E. Millbrae Ave., Millbrae. Ca 94030.. The Clarion is owned by the Westin and is a short walk across the parking lot to the Westin. The room rate is $115.00 per night. The Clarion does not have the capacity for guest to make online room reservations.  Guest must make their reservation with Choice Reservations Office at 1-800-221-2222. Guest must identify themselves as a registered attendee of the CCC-Extended Opportunity Programs and Services meeting.  The Clarion has a free airport shuttle.

The cut off date to make reservations with the Clarion is September 28, 2008. 

Use the Westin parking lot rather than the Clarion if you are staying at the Clarion. The Westin is providing complimentary overnight parking, and daily parking at $3.00 (usually $2.00 per hour).
